Larkspun Studio builds fast, custom websites for small businesses in Northern Colorado and helps them get found on Google and recommended in AI answers. We also handle local SEO and ongoing care after launch.
Where is Larkspun Studio located?
We are based in Northern Colorado and work with businesses in Greeley, Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, Longmont and across Weld and Larimer counties. We meet in person or online, whichever is easier for you.
How much does a website cost?
Our Starter website is $1,200 to build plus a $100 monthly care plan. Larger Growth and Premium projects are quoted after a short call.
What is included in the $595 site audit?
The audit checks your website speed, mobile experience, Google Business Profile, local listings, structured data and how AI assistants describe your business, then gives you a prioritized fix list and a call to walk through it.
How long does it take to build a website?
Most Starter sites launch in two to four weeks once we have your content and photos. Larger sites take longer, and we give you a timeline before we start.
What is AI search optimization?
AI search optimization is the work of making your business easy for AI assistants like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Gemini to understand and recommend. It is also called AEO (answer engine optimization) or GEO (generative engine optimization).
What is the difference between SEO and AEO?
SEO helps your pages rank in search results, while AEO helps your business get named in the direct answers that AI assistants and Google AI Overviews give. Good AEO builds on good SEO, so we do both.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my business?
No one can guarantee what an AI assistant says, and you should be wary of anyone who does. We make your business clear, consistent and well documented so you are a strong candidate, and we check and report what the assistants say over time.
What is an llms.txt file?
An llms.txt file is a short, plain-text summary of your website placed at yoursite.com/llms.txt so AI tools can quickly understand who you are and which pages matter. It is a new, optional standard, and it takes little effort to add.
Why does structured data matter for AI search?
Structured data (schema.org markup) states facts like your business name, services, service area and hours in a format machines read reliably. That makes it easier for search engines and AI tools to describe you accurately.
Do I own my website?
Yes. You own your domain, your content and your photos, and if you ever leave we hand over your site files.
Do you work with businesses outside Northern Colorado?
Yes, though most of our clients are local. Our local SEO work is tuned for Northern Colorado markets.
Can I cancel the monthly care plan?
Yes. Care plans are month to month after launch, and you can cancel with 30 days notice.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. We can rebuild your current site to be faster and easier to find, and we redirect your old page addresses so you keep the search traffic you already have.
